We kick off this week’s Outdoor Magazine radio show talking with northern Lake Huron charter captain John King of Halcyon Charters.  John talks about the fishery in that part of the lake and describes what it’s like to troll for salmon under the Big Mac bridge.

Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about the challenges of covering Michigan for an outdoor newspaper.

Hour two features whitetail specialist Brent Rudolph of the Michigan DNR.  Brent discusses the new deer management units for southern Michigan, EHD, mandatory antler point restrictions and the concept of a one buck system.

Jeana Canel of Jays Sporting Goods is up next.  Jeana says the gun shortage is starting to ease up with some models, including AR-15’s.  She also has some great tips on what to look for in high end airguns.

The show wraps up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave has a great blackened salmon recipe.

Another good show.  I hope you like it.
