A little slower paced format this week on Outdoor Magazine Radio.

The first hour features retired DNR fisheries biologist Steve Sendek.  Steve says stalked and surrounded by three wolves in the western UP.  This is a very interesting story and proves once again Michigan wolves are becoming increasingly aggressive.

Tim Hart of Q1 Buck Pole wraps up the hour with an update on their Michigan whitetail contest.

Veteran outdoor writer and big game expert Richard P Smith joins me in hour number two.  Richard talks about his deer season, the season in general, plus weather and how it affects whitetail migration.  Richard also announced details of his annual Pre-Christmas book tour in southern Michigan.

The final hour of this week’s show features Ted Harpham of Darton Archery.  Darton is a respected Michigan company that’s been a leader in the archery business for more than half a century.  This week Ted outlines their new product line up for 2014.

We wrap it all up, as usual, with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has a  hearty venison recipe perfect for cold weather.

A little slower paced show this week and that gives me time for more in depth conversations with my guests.  I hope you like it.
