We wrap up the month of March with some great guests and information this week.

First, Richard P. Smith joins me to talk about bear predation on whitetail fawns in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Then Michigan United Conservation Club’s  (mucc.org)   Drew YoungeDyke has an update on the proposed federal legislation to take wolves off the endangered species list.

In hour two we head to the Manistee River for a steelhead fishing report with Capt. Lance Keene of  the Steelhead Hunter guide service.  Lance says the river has lots of fish in it now and conditions for catching them are very good.

New Michigan fishing regulations are up next as I talk with Nick Popoff of the Michigan dnr.  Nick says there are several new guidelines facing anglers this season.

The third hour features fishing expert, outdoor writer and TV host Mark Romanack of Fishing 411.  Mark talks about springtime fishing with an emphasis on jigging for walleye in the Detroit River.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave has another tasty coho recipe.

It’s another busy show this week.  I hope you like it.
