Radio Rundown for July 15/16

First, Jason Bittner of Customs and Border Protection (cbp.gov) has some great advice on crossing the border when hunting and fishing in Canada.

Then, Tom Campbell from Woods-n-Waternews provides details of their August edition and looks ahead to the big Outdoor Weekend in September.

Hour two kicks off with Drew YoungeDyke of the National Wildlife Federation (nwf.org).  He talks about the increasing threat of Asian Carp and the potential danger of a break in that oil pipeline at the straits.

Next, Michigan dnr Veterinarian Kelly Straka says TB is still a problem in the Michigan deer herd.

Matt Smith wraps up the hour.  ”Smitty” describes the process for buying hunting and outdoor recreation property.

Meteorologist Mark Torregrossa is featured in hour three of this week’s show.  Mark talks about the weather for the rest of the summer and into early fall.  You can see his forecasts at MLive.com and FarmerWeather.com.

Chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up, this time with a very interesting catfish recipe.

I hope you like the show.
