We kick off the new month with some great guests and information this week on the Outdoor Magazine radio show.

First, Dale Borske of the Michigan Chapter of Ducks Unlimited (ducks.org/michigan) talks about the 80th anniversary of that group and what they’re doing for wetlands habitat.

Then Glen Venner of the Lure Lipstick company describes how his product uses pheromones to attract fish.

Hour two kicks off with Capt. Paul Schlafley of Riverside Charters in Manistee.  Paul says the fishing for big king salmon has been surprisingly good this season.

Next, Josh Pawlak from Vanguard Outdoors talks about a contest that company is having to give two kids a whitetail hunt in Michigan’s UP this fall.

Lt. Steve Burton from the Michigan dnr wraps up the hour.  Steve has details on the requirements to be a Conservation Officer.

Fishing is the topic in hour number three as I talk with Mark Romanack from Fishing 411 TV.  Mark describes his recent adventures to Stannard Rock in Lake Superior and a steelhead fishing trip to Lake Erie.

Wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up with a very nice venison meat loaf recipe.

I hope you like the show.
