Radio Rundown for Christmas Weekend

It’s a busy pre-holiday show this weekend on Outdoor Magazine Radio.

First, River Guide Paul Schlafley of Riverside Charrter in Manistee talks about wintertime steelheading on the Manistee River.

Then Scott Sczafranski from the Linwood Beach Marina on Saginaw Bay has a look ahead to the ice fishing season.

Hour two features Paul Phillips from the US Rifle Team.  Paul is one of the best long range shooters in the country.  He talks about what it takes to shoot accurately at distances of a mile or more.   Paul also explains his testing of the 450 Bushmaster and that he’s been able to reach out to six hundred yards with that cartridge.

Next, Nick Green from mucc discusses the late season deer hunts in the TB and CWD zones.

He’s followed by Glen Venner of Lure Lipstick.  Glen talks about that fish attractant, the growth of the company….and their new podcast that will kick off in January.

The “Deer Whisperer” John Eberhart (Deer-John.net) is featured in the final hour this week.  John has many bucks in the trophy books, but an experience this season has him re-evaluating his quest for trophy racks.

Chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up.  This time Dave has a coyote recipe.  Yep, I said coyote.

I hope you like the show.
