Radio Rundown for Easter Weekend

Ted Harpham of Michigan based Darton Archery is my first guest this week.  Ted talks about bowhunting for turkeys, the growth of bow fishing and Darton’s compounds and crossbows.

Then Tim Dusterwinkle, President of the Michigan Bear Hunters Association (mibearhunters.org), joins me to talk about a video they helped produce to promote bear hunting with dogs.

Hour two kicks off with “Michigan’s Morel Master”, Clayton Edney.  Clayton runs the Michigan Morels Facebook page and has great advice on how to find the tasty springtime treats.

Drew YoungeDyke of mucc wraps up the hour.  Drew announces his plans to leave the Michigan United Conservation Clubs and go to work for the National Wildlife Federation.  He says he’ll be working on many of the same issues….inluding asian carp.

Fishing Hall of Fame Member Mark Martin is featured in hour three.  He talks about a recent fishing trip on the Detroit River and his plans to fish the Keweenaw area for avariety of fish including walleye and trout.

Chef Dixie Dave Minar is up next.  This time Dave has a very nice turkey recipe.

I hope you like the show.
