We kick off the new month with some interesting guests and topics.

First, Al Herman of the Michigan Friends of NRA talks about the role they play in promoting the shooting world and  previews some of his upcoming fundraising banquets.

Then Josh Pawlak from Vanguard Outdoors describes that company’s commitment to Michigan hunters and anglers.  He also talks about some great prices on Vanguard products at shows across the state.

Trapping is the opening topic of discussion in hour two.   Trevor Daley from the Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers Association (mtpca.com) talks about trapping today and why it’s a labor of love.

Nick Green from the Michigan United C0nservation Clubs (mucc.org) is up next.  Nick has an update on the “hunter pink” issue and why that group is against the move.

The third hour of this week’s show features a topic I find fascinating…falconry.   Chris Martello from the Michigan Hawking Club  talks about the process of using birds of prey to hunt small game, upland birds and waterfowl.

We wrap it up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has an unusual recipe…..coyote ribs.   He says they’re really good.

I hope you like the show.
