The big mid April snowstorm is a main topic of discussion this week on the Outdoor Magazine show.

First, I talk with biologist Ashley Autenrieth of the Michigan dnr.  Ashley says UP whitetails could be in trouble if the snow doesn’t melt soon.

Then, Beth Gruden of the Michigan Wildlife Council (HereForMiOutdoors.org) joins me with an update on their “Here for Generations” campaign.

Hour two kicks off with Nick Percy of Killer Food Plots.  Nick says the late winter storm has slowed down the food plot season in the north country.

Al Stewart from the Michigan dnr is up next.  Al is a wildlife biologist and avid bird hunter.  He describes how the turkeys, and turkey hunters, might be impacted by the weather.

Hour three of this week’s show features Conservation Officer Lt. Jeremy Payne of the Michigan dnr.  Jeremy talks about the job of a modern day Game Warden and how it’s different from many other types of law enforcement.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has a very nice coho recipe.

I hope you like the show.
