We kick off the show Matt Pedigo from the Michigan Bear Hunters Association (MiBearHunters.org).   Matt says the popularity of bear hunting is growing in Michigan.

Then, he switches hats to talk about the Michigan Wildlife Council (HereforMiOutdoors.org) and their “Here For Generations” campaign.

Bob Ransom from Primal Treestands wraps up the hour talking about their new Emergency Descender available in Walmart.

Hour 2 features audiologist and avid hunter Dr. Mike Stewart.  Mike talks about the danger of shooting and hearing loss.

Then Sara Thompson from the Michigan dnr answers questions about how hunters need to transport and process their deer in the CWD zone.

In the final hour of this week’s show I talk with long time outdoor writer and expert hunter Tom Lounsbury.   Tom says it should be a very good pheasant season this year because of the hot, dry summer.

We wrap it all up with chef Dixie Dave Minar and another great wild game dinner.
