Randy Budde of Savage Dog Outdoors is my first guest this week. He talks about predator hunting….including bobcats, fox and coyotes.

Then, Jason Graham from the Linwood Beach Marina on Saginaw Bay wraps up the open water trolling season and gets us ready for ice fishing there.

The second hour features a good friend of mine, Tony Soave. Tony is a retired Conservation Officer who spent many years patrolling, fishing and rescuing anglers off the ice of Saginaw Bay. Tony tells a harrowing story of how he made a couple of simple mistakes that almost cost his life after going through the ice. The info he provides could go a long way in helping others avoid such situations.

Rachel Leightner from the Michigan DNR is up next. She reminds us that January is the time to apply for limited quota springtime turkey tags.

More ice fishing talk in hour three as Michigan’s “Mr. Walleye” Mark Martin joins me. I always look forward to my conversations with Mark. The Hall of Fame angler is a wealth of knowledge and experience…and he loves to share that expertise with other.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dave Minar. This time Dave has a very nice lake trout recipe.
