Here’s a beautiful buck and a great story from Dan Wendling of Saginaw County, Michigan. Congrats Dan

Mike,
I shot a beautiful 10 pointer with my Hoyt Accutech bow last Wednesday evening at 5:50 pm, October 28th. He was walking slowly down my runway and stopped at about 15 yards away. He seen me draw my bow but I was able to get the shot off in time. I put my Rage 3-blade broadhead through his vitals and he ran about 100 yards before going down. I couldn’t believe I actually got such a nice deer. As I approached him I felt like he was going to get up and run away but he was dead. He green scores at 135 4/8” and dressed out at about 175 lbs. I shot him in Saginaw County several miles east of Chesaning in farm country. I have been bowhunting for about 27 years now and have taken quite a few deer but this is by far my biggest. My brother Jim and I have been practicing QDM on our small woodlot for a few years and a few of the neighbors are also. We have also created a few bedding areas inside the woods by clear cutting some trees. We set up a couple of treestands near the edge of the woods so that we can enter and exit without spooking too many deer. I try to catch your radio show when I can and I enjoy listening to it. Pics attached.

Thank you,

Dan Wendling
