We’re kicking off the new year this week on Outdoor Magazine.
First, Scott Hamlin of Michigan based Bohning Archery joins me to talk about that company and nearly 75 years in the archery business.
In Hour 2, Michigan DNR Director Dan Eichinger describes his first year in the office. He also defends the DNR’s position on CWD and whitetail management. Then the Director has some thoughts on whether or not we’ll see a sandhill crane or wolf season soon.
Ben Nielsen of Showspan wraps up the hour. Ben has details on their upcoming Ultimate Fishing Show in Novi.
We’re talking trapping in the final hour this week as Mark Earl of the Michigan Tappers and Predator Caller’s Association joins me. Mark talks about the history of trapping and why many people today are still fascinated by the tradition.
We wrap it all up with Chef Dave Minar. He doesn’t have a recipe this week, but he does talk about how his deer season went.
I hope you like the show.
