We kick off the month of June with a broad based show this weekend.

First, Dave Thomas of Bowhunter Planet.com joins me to talk about his website and the theory behind the Bowhunter Planet franchise. Like a growing number of folks, Dave has become frustrated with today’s scripted and unrealistic hunting shows. His website is designed to showcase real world hunts and also product reviews.

Then Eric Sherwood of Whitetail Select wraps up the hour. Eric says the window for planting spring food plots has just about closed and it’s time to concentrate on late summer work now.

The second hour features Bill Bale of Best Chance Too Charters. Best Chance is one of the best salmon and trout charter operations on the Great Lakes and Bill has some great insight and information. I enjoyed my conversation with him so much, we spent the entire hour talking about the salmon and trout fishery today, and how anglers can catch more fish.

Fishing is also the theme of the third hour. Don Miller of Millers Motor City Muskies joins me to talk about the action on Lake St. Clair this summer. That lake is a world class musky fishery, but anglers there use techniques and tactics unique to that body of water. Don explains the details.

The show wraps up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave and I reminisce about some past adventures hunting and fishing. We ran out of time for a recipe, but had a nice on-air visit anyway.

An interesting show and I hope you enjoy it.
