We kick off this week’s show by drawing the winner of this month’s Ameristep Carnivore Blind. Congrats to Tony Burgess of Midwest City Oklahoma.
You can enter next months contest for a blind, and the grand prize of a hog hunt in Florida with Ralph and Vicki Cianciarulo, at this link.
Next, Pat McKenna of Ameristep joins me to talk about their new products for springtime turkey hunters. He also has some great advice on how to get started hunting from a ground blind.
The second hour features Glenn Duncan of Duncan’s Outdoor Shop in Bay City, Michigan. Glenn talks about several topics this week, including turkey guns, AR platform rifles and choosing the right handgun.
Next, Keith Stanton of The Sportsman’s Theatre joins me to talk about an event on April 22nd in Ionia, Michigan. Keith will be showing some of the best video highlights from several Michigan outdoor video producers on the big screen in that premiere event.
Tony Hansen of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs wraps up the hour with an update on outdoor related issues from Lansing.
The final hour of this week’s show kicks off with outdoor writer and fishing guide Dave Rose . Dave talks about surf fishing and pier angling for Great Lakes salmon, trout and other species. Rose says you can also use those techniques on some inland lakes too.
As always, we wrap it up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave has a very nice turkey recipe… perfect for spring.
Another busy and informative show. I hope you like it.
