First, the story of my Quebec bear hunting adventure at Northern Outfitters. It was a great trip and all the hunters in our group were successful, including Ted Harpham of Darton Archery.
Then Dave Thomas of Bowhunter Planet joins me to talk about the longest shot ever documented with a crossbow. Here’s that video.
Next, I draw the winner of this month’s Ameristep Carnivore ground blind giveaway. Congrats to Jean Spieles of Berkeley Springs, WV. You can enter next months drawing here.
The hour wraps up with Nels Larsen of the Walleye for Warrior event this weekend on Saginaw Bay.
Bowfishing guide Scott Hodges kicks off the second hour. Scott is the owner of Bullseye Bowfishing and has some great advice on bowfishing West Michigan lakes after dark.
Tony Hansen of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs brings the hour to a close. Tony has the latest outdoor news and information out of Lansing and the DNR.
Airguns are the topic of our final hour as Joe Syring of Crosman joins me. Joe says this new generation of guns offer much better performance than the old spring loaded BB guns. He also has some advice on what caliber gun is best for most shooters.
We wrap it all up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave has a tasty bear chili in honor of my successful Quebec bear hunt.
Another busy and informative show. I hope you like it.
