We kick off the month of November with an interesting story from a central Michigan bowhunter. Brian Curtis says he say a black panther that lunged at him from a tree. Brian tells his story and says others have seen the big cat too.

Then, tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews joins me with a a look at their November edition and a report of how the WNW staff is doing so far this deer season.

Hour two features Glenn Duncan of Duncan’s Outdoor Shop in Bay City, Michigan. Glenn talks about deer guns and sighting in before the season.

Tony Hansen of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs wraps the hour up by checking in from Lansing with a look at how the election might affect wildlife and conservation issues.

In the final hour of this week’s show, Michigan Conservation Officer Tony Soave checks in to answer some common questions and provide advice on staying legal in the field.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This week Dave continues his talk on field prep for wild game.

Another busy show as we get ready for the Michigan firearm deer season. I hope you like it.
