RJ Meyer of the Trophy Room Taxidermy Studio joins me this week to talk about preserving your hunting and fishing memories.  RJ has some great advice on field prep for the taxidermist and what you can expect from those mounts.  For a look at some of RJ’s work, check out his website….TrophyRoomMichigan.com.

Then Fred Post of the Sanford American Legion Post talks about a fundraising event we’re having in a couple of weeks to raise money for veterans.  It’s Saturday, September 14th.  This poster has details.

Vets Salute

Hour two kicks off with old friend Jim Barta of the Hunter Safety System.  Hunter Safety System revolutionized the concept of treestand safety and Jim has good advice on staying safe in a treestand.

MUCC‘s Tony Hansen is up next.  This week Tony and I talk about screw ups in the outdoors and how they make for some great stories.

Another old friend joins me in the third hour as I talk with expert outdoorsman and veteran writer Tom Lounsbury.  Tom and I discuss a wide range of topics from pheasant hunting to handguns.

The show wraps up once again with chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave doesn’t have a recipe, instead we talk about bear hunting and fundraising dinners.

A good show filled with great guests and information.  I hope you like it.
