First, outdoor writer and fishing guide Dave Rose (WildFishing) joins me to talk about fall fishing in the Great Lakes State.  Dave says this is the time of year when anglers don’t need a big boat to have access to big fish.

Then Brian Lowe, one of the founders of the Michigan Buck Pole (mibuckpole.com) joins me to talk about their online, virtual buck pole.  We’ll have periodic updates from those guys throughout the season.

Hour two features Jerry Wydner of the Hunter Safety System.  That company pioneered the concept of tree stand safety and they still lead the category today.  Here’s a picture of me with company owners John and Jerry Wydner, along with their partner Jim Barta on a bowhunting trip in Ohio.

Katie Keen of the Michigan dnr wraps up the hour talking about the upcoming youth hunt and early doe seasons.

Recovering deer with dogs is the topic of hour number three as I talk with Kevin Hanus of the Rose City Deer Tracking Hounds.  Kevin says the use of a good tracking dog can improve the odds of finding an animal.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar and another great wild game recipe.

A busy show filled with great guests and information.  I hope you like it.
