Then, Chris Goerge of the Ieuter Insurance Group talks about insurance coverage of your vehicle while on the ice. Despite what many people think, your insurance is not automatically void if you take a vehicle on the ice.
Hour two starts out with Michigan dnr biologist Kevin Swanson. Kevin and I talk about wolves and coyotes in Michigan as well as a project to find wolves in the northern lower peninsula. Kevin also says there are no “coywolves” in the state.
Michigan’s new head deer biologist Chad Stewart is up next. Chad comes to Michigan from Indiana and hopefully will bring some fresh ideas on the topic of deer management.
The third hour features fishing guide Paul Schlafley of Riverside Charters in Manistee. Paul talks about wintertime steelhead fishing and looks forward to the springtime brown trout season.
We wrap it all up with chef Dixie Dave Minar. This week Dave has a recipe for jumbo perch.
