We’re kicking off the new month by taking a look at some great family owned, Michigan based companies.
First, Sherm Hubbard of Speedy Blaze joins me to talk about their alternative to firewood. He says it has many benefits over traditional wood.
Then, I talk with Pure Michigan Hunt winner Bill Price. Bill says he never thought he’d win such a great prize, but he’s eager to get started on his Michigan hunting adventures.
In Hour 2, I talk with Matt Kamenga of White River Knives. Matt describes what makes a good knife and has some great tips on keeping that knife razor sharp.
Then, Maia Turek from the Michigan DNR talks about wintertime activities at our state parks. She also reminds us now is the time to make reservations for your summertime adventures.
We wrap up the hour with Matt Pedigo of the Michigan Wildlife Council. Matt talks about a new exhibit at the state museum to celebrate some wildlife conservation success stories.
Food plots are the topic of discussion in the final hour this week as Nick Percy of Killer Food Plots joins me. Nick has lots of advice on getting ready for the upcoming food plot season.
I hope you like the show.
