This week on the show I talk with Michigan’s most famous walleye angler, Mark Martin.. Mark won the first PWT Championship about twenty years ago and he’s been a force in the world of professional walleye fishing ever since. Martin is also an avid whitetail hunter too, and we talked about deer hunting in Michigan’s UP, as well as fall walleye fishing.
The first hour of the show wraps up with Randy Jorgenson of Woods-n-Waternews. Randy talks about his deer season and the current edition of the magazine.
At the top of the next hour I give some gift suggestions for the hunter or angler on your Christmas list. Since times are tough for many families these days, my suggestions are geared toward low priced items that provide the best value.
Next, Tim Hart of The Big Buck Pole joins me. Tim has a great program that takes the traditional concept of a local big buck pole, into a statewide event that uses broadcast outlets and the web to maximize promotion.
We wrap up the hour with Mark Romanack of Fishing 411 and Precision Angling. Mark also has some gift suggestions, as well as tips on fall walleye fishing.
The final hour kicks off with one of my favorite guests….Richard P. Smith of Marquette. Richard is very knowledgeable about deer and bears, and he shares the story of his recent whitetail adventure in Sasketchewan.
We wrap up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar who has another great wild game recipe.
Another busy and informative show. I hope you enjoy it.
