Another busy show this week on Outdoor Magazine Radio.
Our first guest is Michigan native Sam Bouillion of Sam’s Adventures. Sam is now living in Alaska and working as a fishing guide and charter captain out of Seward. Sam says this summer is a good time to visit Alaska because prices are down and availability is up.
Next, we check in with our friends from Woods-n-Waternews. Tom Campbell draws the short straw this week. Tom talks about getting ready for turkey season and gives us a look inside this month’s magazine.
Richard Smith from Marquette kicks off our second hour. I always enjoy talking with Richard because he’s extremely knowledgeable and has plenty of insight into outdoor issues. This week we spent some time talking about proposed new regulations for Michigan bear hunters.
Mark Romanack of Precision Angling and Fishing 411 wraps up our second hour talking about….fishing, of course. He gives us some advice on where to get some great springtime action. Lake Erie and the Detroit River are part of that conversation.
The final hour of the show is a busy one.
Karl Ieuter of the Ieuter Insurance Group joins us to talk about the importance of insurance for our outdoor related gear. Karl shares some great tips, including the use of photos to document our equipment in case we need to make a claim.
Next, Loyal Tullius of Camo Headquarters.com talks about his company and what they have to offer. Camo HQ specializes in camouflage accessories for trucks and other vehicles. You can see examples of their products on my truck by clicking here.
Finally, we wrap up with my friend Dixie Dave Minar. This week Dave has a great smoked salmon recipe for us.
Another good show and I hope you enjoy it.
