We kick off the show this weekend by announcing a new partnership.

In 2010 Carbon Express will be the official arrow and broadhead sponsor of Outdoor Magazine. I’m very excited about this relationship for many reasons. Carbon Express is a leader in the industry, they’re based right here in Michigan and my history with the company goes back many years.

Joe Syring of Carbon Express joins me to talk about some of the new products coming out for next year.

Next, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about the Michigan firearm deer season opener, and how the hunting was at their camp.

In the second hour I’m joined by Ted Harpham of Darton Archery. Darton is getting ready to kick of their 60th anniversary in the archery industry. Ted gives us a look at some of their new models, but kept just enough information back to pique my curiosity.

Then, I talk with Mark Romanack of Fishing 411 and Precision Angling. We discuss the great fall walleye fishing on Lake Erie and Saginaw Bay. Mark also has an update on how deer season is going in the Romanack house.

Our final hour kicks off with an old friend of mine, Greg Abbas of A-Way Outdoors. Greg shot a beautiful ten point in Southern Michigan the morning of our conversation. He told me the details of that harves, and we talked about Michigan deer hunting in general. Greg is a expert when it comes to managing property for whitetails, and he had some great tips.

This week’s show wraps up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar. In honor of Thanksgiving, Dave has a tasty wild turkey recipe.

A busy show this week filled with lots of great information. I hope you enjoy it.
