This week on the Outdoor Magazine radio show we start out with one of my favorite guests..Richard P. Smith.

Richard is opposed to proposed changes in the Michigan bear hunting regulations that would institute a private land tag. He explains why, and also talks about his new DVD on field judging black bear.

In our second hour Doug Reeves joins me. Doug is an old friend of mine and Assistant Chief of the Michigan DNR Wildlife Division. We have a good conversation about feral swine in Michigan and why they pose a real problem to native habitat and wildlife.

Next, Charter Captain Bob Guenthardt joins me to talk about a fishing tournament out of Manistee in May for wounded veterans….a great idea!

The the third hour of the show kicks off with veteran turkey hunting guide Greg Abbas of Away Hunting Products. Greg has some great advice on getting ready for turkey season and improving your odds of success on a big tom this year.

The show wraps up with chef Dixie Dave Minar who has another tasty recipe for us.

Another busy show….I hope you enjoy it.
