We kick off this week’s show talking about casting crankbaits for giant king salmon with Tim Roller. Tim was a fishing guide on the Manistee River for many years and helped pioneer that technique. He says anglers might not catch as many fish these days, but those salmon are like to be bigger than in previous years.

Hour two features Bill Hahn of Jay’s Sporting Goods. Bill is the buyer for the hunting department at Jays. He talks about hunting related products, including the finer points of buying a new trail camera.

Shaun McKeon from MUCC is up next. Shaun is that organization’s Educator Director and talks about their recent kids camp.

Fishing is the topic in Hour 3 this week as I talk with Mark Romanack of Fishing 411. Mark describes his recent fishing adventures including a walleye/steelhead fishing trip on Lake Erie.

Then wild game chef Dave Minar wraps up the show. There’s no recipe this week. Instead, Dave talk about some fund raising dinners he’s involved in.

I hope you like the show.
