Glenn Duncan is up first this week. Glenn talks about a new, interactive target system on their range at Duncan’s Outdoor Shop in Bay City, Michigan. Glenn says the system allows handgun shooters to shoot at moving targets in a variety of scenarios.
Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews takes a look at their March edition and talks about plans for the big Outdoor Weekend.
Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) is the opening topic in the second hour this week as I talk with Michigan DNR Big Game Specialist Chad Stewart. Chad says recent claims of a cure for CWD are not scientifically sound. However, he goes on to say biologists and game managers are learning more about the disease and it’s affect on whitetails.
Shaun McKeon from the Michigan United Conservation Clubs wraps up the hour. Shaun is the Education Coordinator for MUCC and has details on their summer youth camp.
Food plots and whitetail property management expert Nick Percy joins me for the final hour. Nick is the owner of Killer Food Plots and says there’s a lot of interest in his services these days, especially since baiting has been banned. He has great advice on how to get started putting in food plots.
Wild Game Chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it up once again. This time Dave has a very nice rabbit recipe.
I hope you like the show.
