The hour wraps up with Tom Campbell of Woods n Waternews. Tom tells me he’s struggling this turkey season and hasn’t seen a lot of birds yet.
The second hour features Dave Engel of Best Chance Too Charters. The guys on Best Chance are some of the most respected, and successful charter anglers and tournament fishing on the Great Lakes. Dave shares some tips during our conversation.
Tony Hansen of MUCC is up next. Tony talks about a summer camp designed to get kids involved in the outdoors. He also has reaction to the uproar over the wild pig issue in Michigan.
Turkeys are the topic of the final hour as DNR biologist and avid hunter Al Stewart joins me. Al has the story of how turkeys were re-introduced to Michigan and he has some great tips for hunting the late season.
The show wraps up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave has a very nice walleye recipe.
