We kick off this week with talking with Dave McIntyre, the winner of season 2 of the “Alone” TV show on the History Channel. Dave is a Michigan guy with a great story to tell about what it takes to survive physically, and mentally, in the wilderness.

Brad Dupuie of Angler Qwest Pontoons and Polar Kraft Boats wraps up the hour. Brad says covid has created a big demand for their boats, but it’s also limited the supply of new boats available for next spring.

We’re talking night time predator hunting with Bob Abbott of Dog Tired TV in the second hour this week. Bob is a pioneer in promoting new methods of hunting coyotes.

Then Ron Yesney of the Michigan DNR has details on the Upper Peninsula snowmobile trail system.

We wrap up the hour with this week’s Ask Avery segment. This time, it’s another “twofer”. I’m talking about feral hogs in Michigan and the number of illegal baiting tickets written by conservation officers.

Lance Keene of Steelhead Hunter Charters is my guest in Hour 3. Lance is talking to us from the Big Manistee River while he guides clients on a steelhead trip.

We wrap it up with Chef Dave Minar and another great wild game recipe.
