Scott Hamlin of Michigan based Bohning Archery is my first guest this week. Bohning contacted me about partnering on the show and I’m glad to have them back in the Outdoor Magazine family. Bohning has been a leader in the archery business since 1946 and they continue to innovate and improve on archery related gear and products today.

Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about wrapping up the show season and he looks ahead to their April Edition.

We’re talkin’ turkey in the second hour with Greg Abbas of Away Outdoors. Greg is a six time Michigan turkey calling champion and former turkey hunting guide. He has great advice on scouting for gobblers and calling them in range.

Next, MUCC Executive Director Amy Trotter talks about her new role as head of that organization. We also discuss CWD, baiting and the relationship between MUCC and the Michigan DNR.

Fishing guide Paul Schlafley of Riverside Charters in Manistee kicks off the final hour. Paul is on the Big Manistee River during that conversation and one of his clients actually lands a steelhead while we’re talking.

And finally, Wild Game Chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up. This time the Chef has a very nice steelhead recipe.

I hope you like the show.
