Jorden Susewitz is my first guest this week.  Jorden talks about a film he’s work on with the Deer Hunter Podcast about backcountry deer hunting in Michigan’s Pigeon River Forest.

He also tells the story of how he broke into the hunting videography business and what his future plans are.

Then, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews has a look at their big January edition.

Pike spearing through the ice is the opening topic in the second hour this week.  Jason Crean from the Southeast Chapter of the Michigan Darkhouse Angling Association ( talks about spearing, and how to get started in that Michigan wintertime tradition.

Nick Green of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs is up next .  Nick says it’s been extremely busy in Lansing as the lame duck state legislature wraps up.  He talks about some of the key areas of discussion and looks ahead to working with a new administration.

The hour wraps up with Ed Roy from the Michigan Wildlife Council (  Ed has an update on the “Here for Generations” campaign.

Long time outdoor writer and hunting expert Tom Lounsbury is featured in hour three this week .  We talk about the late pheasant season, and the transition into rabbit hunting.

Then, Chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up with another very nice wild game recipe.
