There’s a mixed bag this week on the Outdoor Magazine radio show….
First, we kick off a contest with the folks at Weiss Equipment in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Brent Weiss is giving away a Polaris Sportsman 550XP quad next month. You can find details on how to enter the contest here.
Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews also joins us in the first hour. As always, Tom has some great outdoor news and information.
In our second hour I talk about my new partnership with Darton Archery. I’ve shot Darton bows in the past and it feels good to “come home to Darton”.
Then, we check in with Roger Johnson and his son Tom Keenan. Those two Michigan hunters have been harvesting wild pigs on their land in Ogemaw County for the past couple of years. You can see some of their trailcam pictures here.
The second hour wraps up with Mark Romanack of Fishing 411 and Precision Angling. Mark tells us about his recent fly in fishing trip to a remote Ontario pike and walleye lake.
Doug Roberts of Border Crossing Scents joins me in the third hour. Border Crossings is a fairly new Michigan company that’s developed a unique line of scents for hunters.
As always, we wrap it up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time the Chef has another great wild game recipe.
A very busy show this week. I hope you enjoy it.
