The fall hunting seasons have kicked off in Michigan and that’s the topic of conversation on this week’s Outdoor Magazine radio show.
First, Conservation Officer Sgt. Tony Sovee of the Michigan DNRE joins me to talk about staying on the right side of the law this hunting season.
Then, Randy Jorgenson of Woods-n-Waternews wraps up the hour with a look back on their big outdoor weekend in Imlay City.
In the second hour with veteran outdoor writer and photographer Richard P. Smith joins me. Richard talks about the Michigan bear season and looks forward to deer hunting.
Our final hour continues with a whitetail theme as John Eberhart is my guest. In my opinion, John is one of Michigan’s best deer hunters and has learned how to hunt pressured whitetails. He shares some of that knowledge during his conversation.
The show wraps up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. Dave brings us up to speed on the status of his soups and has a quick recipe as well.
Another busy show. I hope you enjoy it.
