There’s an interesting mix of guests and topics this week on the Outdoor Magazine.

First, television producer and veteran whitetail hunter Tim Roller joins me to announce the  University of Whitetail.  Tim has teamed up with another well known deer hunting expert John Eberhart on a series of intensive, video based seminars to help hunters be more successful.

Then, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about the April edition of their widely read outdoor magazine.

Hour number two features expert angler Mark Romanack of the Fishing 411 TV show.  Mark talks about late season ice fishing and looks forward to the open water fishing season.

Kevin Swanson of the Michigan dnr is up next.  Kevin is  wildlife biologist in the Upper Peninsula.  He talks about plans to improve whitetail habitat there and has an update on how the deer are doing during this rough winter season.

The final hour of this week’s show kicks off with veteran surf angler Bill Olar.  I know we’re a few weeks away from fishing open water, but I just can’t talk about ice fishing anymore.  Bill has some great advice on how to fish big water without a boat.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week he has another very nice fish recipe.

Great guests and good information…I hope you like it.
