Some great guests and lots of good information this week on the Outdoor Magazine Radio Show.

First, “Michigan’s Weatherman” Mark Torregrossa joins me to talk about when spring will finally get here.  Mark says the central part of Michigan will have snow on the ground for two to three more weeks (later in the U.P. of course).  He also says the weather is about a month behind this year and the good news is all the snow will help out Great Lakes water levels.  You can follow Mark at MLive.com/weather or FarmerWeather.com.

Next, Mike Collins of Bohning Archery joins me.  Michigan based Bohning was a pioneer in the archery industry and their products are still cutting edge today.

Hour number two features Jeania Canel of Jays Sporting Goods.  Jeania talks about shotguns for turkey season and has great advice about ammo, sights and accessories for this spring.

Up next, Erin McDonough of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (mucc).  Erin says the petition to fight the anti hunting movement is rolling along and she encourages hunters and anglers to support Citizens for Professional Wildlife Management (CitizensWildlife.com).

Veteran outdoor writer Tom Lounsbury kicks off the final hour of this week’s show.  Tom and I talk about this past winter and how it’s affected wildlife.  As usual, we also “shoot the breeze” about several other outdoor related topics and issues.

This week’s show wraps up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time the Chef has a very nice walleye recipe.

Another busy show filled with great information….I hope you like it.
