Bear hunting in northern Ontario is the subject in hour number two as I talk with Ron St. Louis of Northern Wilderness Bear Outfitters (northernwildernessbearhunts). Ron runs a first class operation in the town of White River and his hunter success rate is nearly 100 percent.
Elyse Walters of the Michigan dnr is up next to talk about “Free Fishing Weekend” and all the activities associated with that Michigan event.
Veteran outdoor writer and avid angler Steve Griffin is the featured guest in hour number three. Steve and I talk about how the late spring as affecting panfishermen and we discuss why kayaks can be a great tool for anglers.
The show wraps up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar. As always, Dave has another very nice recipe.
