The show kicks off with a heartfelt thank you to all Dads on this Father’s Day Weekend.

Then, northern Michigan resident Frank Candela tells the story of a close encounter with a black bear sow and cub.

Plus, Adam Bump of the Michigan dnr talks about bears in Michigan and what people can do to minimize unwanted interaction with them.

John Kirby of Becks Trailer Store in St. Johns, MI wraps up the hour.  Beck’s is the state’s largest trailer outlet with fourteen hundred in stock.

The second hour features Lake St. Clair musky charter captain Don Miller of Millers Sportfishing.  Don says LSC is the best musky fishery in the country and tells why anglers should come and fish with him.

Traditional archery is the topic in the final hour of this week’s Outdoor Magazine radio show as I talk with Dave Balowski of St Joe River Bows.  Dave explains the appeal of shooting a recurve or longbow and stresses the importance of finding one that fits the archer.

We wrap it all up with chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week he has an unusual sheephead recipe.

Another good show filled with good guests and information.  I hope you like it.
