We’ve got a busy show this week on Outdoor Magazine Radio.

First, Michigan hunter Jeff Hammond describes an Alabama boar hunt with a twist….they kill the animals using a knife.  Jeff say the hunt is very exciting and surprisingly humane.

Then, Dr. Annie Rummel of Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region (GoGreat.com) joins me to talk about the appeal of that part of Michigan for outdoor enthusiasts and their families.

Next, Bryan Lowe of the Michigan Buck Pole (MiBuckpole.com) talks about their plans to engage with Michigan hunters and anglers now that deer season is over.

Hour two features long range shooting expert Paul Phillips.  Paul is a former Marine who now shoots for the US Team.  He has great advice to improve your accuracy downrange.

Jorden Susewitz wraps up the hour talking about the Extreme Predator Challenge, a statewide predator calling contest that kicks off later this month.

Archery is the topic in hour number three as I talk with Dave Thomas of BowhunterPlanet.    Dave has some interesting thoughts on the state of archery today and talks about new gear unveiled at the big Archery Trade Association show in Indianapolis.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  There’s no recipe this week, instead Dave talks about the annual St. Martin Church wild game dinner fundraiser for the Helping Hands Program.

Its a fast paced show this week filled with lots of great guests and information.  I hope you like it.
