We celebrate the 10th anniversary of Outdoor Magazine on the Michigan Radio Network this weekend (the show has been around a lot longer than that on a different network and the local level).

First, Richard P Smith joins me to talk about a proposed further reduction in the number of Michigan bear tags.

Then, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews has a preview of their February edition.

Hour two features veteran beagler Tom Summers (AmericanBeagler.com).  Tom has great advice on running rabbits and choosing the right puppy.

Al Stewart of the Michigan dnr wraps up the hour with a reminder about the deadline to apply for a Michigan springtime turkey license.

We switch gears and talk ice fishing in hour three.  Mark Romanack of Fishing411.  Mark tells of an upcoming adventure for brook trout in the frozen lakes of Ontario and has advice for Saginaw River walleye anglers.

The show wraps up with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week there’s no recipe though as we talk about upcoming wild game dinners.  Here’s the flyer for the St. Martin dinner coming up next weekend.

I appreciate your support of Outdoor Magazine Radio over the years and hope you like this weekend’s show.
