We kick off the show talking about the Ann Arbor deer situation with Chad Stewart of the Michigan dnr.  Chad was involved in the decision to allow sterilization of deer there as an alternative to hunting.

Then Chad Merrihew from Security Credit Union (SecurityCU.org) joins me to talk about his initiation into the sport of predator hunting.  Let’s just say Chad is now hooked on coyote hunting.

Hour two kicks off with an interesting conversation with Capt. Glen Buehner of the Great Lakes Salmon Initiative (GreatLakeSalmon.org).  Glen says it’s the DNR’s goal to completely stop stocking chinook salmon in Lake Michigan.

Drew YoungeDyke of mucc  is up next.  Drew has some additional thoughts on the whitetail situation in Ann Arbor.  He also outlines federal legislation that could take wolves off the endangered species list.

We’re talking ice fishing in the final hour of this week’s show.  Joe Cook from Jays Sporting Goods has great advice on using tip ups for pike.
