We wrap up the month of September this week on the Outdoor Magazine Radio Show.

First, outdoor writer and big game hunting expert Richard P Smith joins me to talk about the Michigan bear season and the outlook for whitetail hunting in the Upper Peninsula.

Then Bryan Lowe from the Michigan Buck Pole (mibuckpole.com) talks about their online, virtual buck pole and the great response they got from the Michigan youth hunt.

Hour number two kicks off with Ted Harpham of Michigan based Darton Archery.  Ted has details on that company’s new shoot through riser on two of their target bows.

Next, another Michigan company….Diamondbuck  Blinds is featured as I talk with Alan Hill.  Alan talks about unique material their blinds are made from and discusses the size and configuration options.

Holly Vaughn of the michigan dnr is up next.  Holly describes a new program designed to encourage waterfowl hunters to use the state’s managed areas.

The final hour of this week’s show features Doug Deming of the Fish Point Lodge on Saginaw Bay.  Doug is an expert big water hunting guide and has some great tips and advice

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave has a very nice  venison recipe.

A busy show filled with lots of great guests and information.  I hope you like it.
