We kick off this week’s show with the “Chairman of the Boards”, Bruce DeShano of Offshore Tackle. Offshore has pioneered much of the trolling gear and techniques used by anglers over the last thirty five years.
Then Larry Amy of Monroe Ammo joins me to talk about his Michigan based ammunition manufacturing company. He also announces a contest to give away three boxes of handgun ammo when the Outdoor Magazine Facebook page hits 28,000 likes. The second hour features Mike Collins of Bohning Archery. Bohning has been a leader in the archery industry for more than sixty five years and they continue to develop great products today.
Drew YoungeDyke of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (mucc.org) is up next. Drew says the departure of their Executive Director will not have a negative effect on the organization.
Lake Superior lake trout fishing is the topic of our final hour as I talk with charter captain Dave Kimar of Kimars Charters. Dave is a veteran angler on the famous Stannard Rock and has some great advice for fishing that offshore reef.
We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This time Dave has a very nice lake trout recipe.
