We kick off this week’s Outdoor Magazine radio show with charter captain Jeff Godi of The Michigan Experience. Jeff talks about trolling spoons on Saginaw Bay and the challenges of running a new charter boat.
Then Laura Corlew joins the conversation. Laura won a fishing trip with Captain Godi in a contest through the folks at the Forward Corporation.
Whitetails are the opening topic in hour number two as I talk with biologist Chad Stewart of the Michigan dnr. Chad stresses the importance of leaving fawns alone. He says there’s never a good reason to pick one up.
Then mucc‘s Drew YoungeDyke checks in with details on proposed legislation that would make it easier for the state to sell public land and limit access for hunting and angling.
Joe Marion kicks off the final hour of this week’s show. Joe is a charter captain and former coastguardsman who has spent his life on the water. Joe has great advice to prevent accidents while on the Great Lakes and inland water.
We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar. This week Dave has a very nice walleye recipe.
Great guests and information this week. I hope you like the show.
