This week’s show kicks off with Todd Grischke of the Michigan dnr. Todd has details on the new Saginaw Bay perch and walleye regulations that are now in effect.
Then Bryan Lowe of the Michigan Buck Pole (MiBuckpole.com) joins me with a great Michigan deer hunting story.
Hour two kicks off with Jon French. Jon is a veteran who was wounded in combat and now has come up with a way for veterans and others with vision loss to continue to shoot. His system is called the French Visually Impaired Sighting System (VISS). You can learn more on Jon’s Facebook page (facebook.com/VISS).
Drew YoungeDyke from mucc is up next. Drew has another example of their “On the Ground” program in action and talks about the anti hunting movement.
The final hour features “Michigan’s Mr. Walleye”, Mark Martin (MarkMartins.net). Mark has great advice on targeting fall walleye. The fishing Hall of Famer also describes what it’s like to hunt deer in west Michigan sand dunes.
Wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar wraps it all up. This time the chef has a very nice duck recipe.
Great guests and information once again this week on the Outdoor Magazine radio show. I hope you like it.
