First, Sgt. Ron Kimmerly of the Michigan dnr joins me to talk about the role of our state’s Conservation Officers and how it’s changed over the years.

Then Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews  previews their July edition…including a story  we did on running spoons for walleye aboard the Michigan made Angler Qwest boat (ApexMarine).

We kick off the second hour talking about catfish in the Grand River with Dan Lipski of RiverKat Professional Guide Service.  Dan has great advice for catching big channel cats and flatheads in Michigan rivers.

Drew YoungeDyke of the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (mucc.org) is up next.  Drew has an update on avian flu and cwd in Michigan.

Northern Michigan fishing is the topic in hour number three as I talk with outdoor writer and fishing guide Dave Rose of Wild Fishing.  Dave has advice on catching more fish, but he also stresses the importance of enjoying your day on the water…regardless of the number of fish.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This time Dave has a very nice catfish recipe.

More great guests and information this week.  I hope you like it.
