We kick off this week’s Outdoor Magazine radio show talking about processing wild game. Mike Horswill of Jays Sporting Goods is an expert at processing venison and he has some great advice.

Then, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews talks about the November edition of their magazine.

The Lake Michigan salmon fishery is the opening topic of our second hour as I talk with Michigan dnr fisheries biologist Jay Wesley.  Jay talks about the recent decision to cut salmon stocks by almost fifty percent and what that could mean to the resource.

Ray Rustem of the DNR is up next with details on the Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger program.

The final hour of this week’s show features veteran outdoor writer and expert hunter Tom Lounsbury.  Tom talks about the history of pheasant hunting in Michigan and how hunters today can be successful.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar who has a very nice venison recipe.

Lots of interesting information this week.  I hope you like the show.
