First, veteran trout angler Tim Roller talks about the Michigan trout opener. Tim says the water is cold and high in many streams, but that’s not unusual for this time of year. He has great advice on using live bait, spinners and flies for stream trout.
The second hour kicks off with Pierre Smarlack of Northern Outfitters near V’al-d’or Quebec. Pierre talks about the great bear and moose hunting his company offers, plus some great fishing as well.
Pure Michigan Hunt winner Mike DeLorenzo is up next. Mike talks about the great prizes he won (along with two other Michigan hunters) as well as the various hunting licenses that are part of his prize. You can enter next year’s Pure Michigan Hunt for just $5. Multiple entries are allowed.
Bowfishing is the topic in our final hour as I talk with Tony Lauer. Tony is a veteran bow fisherman and has some great advice on getting started in the fast growing sport.
