This weekend marks the last official weekend of summer, but on this Outdoor Magazine radio show we’re talking fall outdoor activities.
First, Dave Rose of the Wildfishing Guide Service joins me to talk about pier and surf fishing for Great Lakes salmon and trout. Dave says it’s also a good technique for walleye and even whitefish.
Then, Tom Campbell of Woods-n-Waternews has a wrap up of their big Outdoor Weekend in Imlay City and a preview of the first annual Outdoor Weekend West in Kalamazoo coming up in a couple weeks.
The second hour features Kirk Evans of the Michigan Squirrel Dog Association. Kirk says their sport is growing fast and has some great advice on how to get started.
Amy Trotter of MUCC is up next. Amy talks about the Michigan hunting and fishing license restructuring. That move will go into effect with the 2014 licenses.
The third hour features veteran river fishing guide Tim Roller. Tim pioneered the fall technique of casting crankbaits for giant king salmon and has lots of advice on how to catch more fish. Tim recently quit guiding to spend ore time on his Whitetail Journey TV show.
We wrap it all up with chef Dixie Dave Minar. This week the chef has a very nice fish recipe.
Another fast paced show filled with lots of great information. I hope you like it.
Looking for Tim Roller’s contact information. And if you know any Christian outdoor’s man that would be good speakers for our Church’s Wild Game Dinner in January, let me know. Our Church is in Grand Haven.
Thanks,
Jeff

I would suggest Greg Abbas as a speaker. Greg’s office number is 989 435-3879.
Good luck.
