My first guest this week is Lydia Lohrer, the outdoor writer for the Detroit Free Press (freep.com).  Lydia has some interesting thoughts on the Ann Arbor deer cull and the threat of aquaculture in Michigan.

Then Jorden Susewitz joins me with an update on the Extreme Predator Hunt coming up later this month.

Hour two kicks off with a discussion about shed hunting as I talk with Mark Miller of the North American Shed Hunters Club (shedantlers.org).

Craig Kasmer of the Michigan dnr is up next.  Craig has some interesting info about  Hartwick Pines near Grayling.

Then Peter Pelon of the Michigan Youth Conservation Council (michiganycc.wordpress.com) talks about that group’s efforts to get young people involved in the outdoors.

Dean Botek of the Michigan Darkhouse Angling Association (Mi-Darkhouse.org) joins me in hour number three to talk about the wintertime activity of pike spearing.

The show wraps up, as always, with wild game chef Dixie Dave Minar.  This week Dave and I talk about some upcoming wild game dinners and the logistics of cooking for several hundred people.

I hope you like the show.
