We kick off this weekends Outdoor Magazine radio show talking with Glenn Duncan of Duncans Outdoor Shop in Bay City. Glenn tells of the recent attempt to ban the popular green tip .556 bullets and discusses turkey guns for the upcoming season.
Then Mike Orr of Five Orrs Charters joins me to talk about early season trolling on southern Lake Michigan. Mike says anglers there are already on open water and getting limit catches of coho.
Next, Michigan dnr biologist Kevin Swanson has an update on the Michigan black bear population. He says the bears here are doing well but the number of bear tags will still be down for this season.
We’re talking turkey in hour three with Greg Abbas of A-Way Outdoors (AWayHunting.com). Greg has advice on pre season scouting for gobblers and demonstrates some of his favorite calls.
